I'm Gloria!

I didn't always know I wanted to be an esthetician. Living in North Carolina, there was no shortage of job opportunities. However, none of the companies were the right fit for me. After a trial-and-error exploration period, I discovered what I loved - waxing.

Despite considering myself a tomboy for the longest time, I knew my next step was enrolling in beauty school. My eyes were opened to so many techniques and treatments I didn't know were possible. My favorite part was seeing my customers love the results of their waxing, facial and makeup appointments.

One of the first techniques I learned was sugaring, which is considered one of the hardest hair-removal techniques. I picked it up so quickly, I earned the name The Sugar Queen. Now, I use that name with pride to show my passion, confidence and dedication to amazing results.

MEET RICHONA

My name is Richona! I have always had a passion for the beauty industry and aspired to be an esthetician for a long time. As a mother of 2, I wanted to pursue a new career path that was more fulfilling to me.

Finally in 2019 my dream came true and I attended Kenneth Shuler to study Esthetics and become an Esthetician. While In school waxing became one of my favorite things that we learned about!

Sugaring was another hair removal technique that I enjoyed doing and eventually I joined Gloria in sugaring.

She was wonderful with training me! My inspiration is seeing my clients love how their skin feels after a service and how much it helps their confidence! I have been waxing for 3 years and love what I do!
