I didn't always know I wanted to be an esthetician. Living in North Carolina, there was no shortage of job opportunities. However, none of the companies were the right fit for me. After a trial-and-error exploration period, I discovered what I loved - waxing.

Despite considering myself a tomboy for the longest time, I knew my next step was enrolling in beauty school. My eyes were opened to so many techniques and treatments I didn't know were possible. My favorite part was seeing my customers love the results of their waxing, facial and makeup appointments.

One of the first techniques I learned was sugaring, which is considered one of the hardest hair-removal techniques. I picked it up so quickly, I earned the name The Sugar Queen. Now, I use that name with pride to show my passion, confidence and dedication to amazing results.
